More birthday fun

On the night of my birthday, I went to dinner and a movie with my friends Alma and Jeff from work. Here we are at dinner

Because it was still my birthday after the movie and we wanted to make the most of it, we went to a bar called The Quarter.

Jeff brought cupcakes for my birthday dessert, and each had

a butterfly ring in it. Here's mine.

Jose met up with us after the movie, so here's Jeff, Alma, Jose and I at the end of the night. I had two beers and a margarita the whole night. That's a lot for me. I hope the rest of my year as a 28-year-old is this much fun!

Birthday fun

So it's been a while since my last blog post. Nothing too exciting happening in Texas. My birthday was last week, though, and I got these awesome flowers from my parents...



And the other awesome thing is I'm making this table runner for a special aunt for her birthday. I've always wanted to make her something, and I've always wanted to make a table runner, so here's what I came up with. I'm hoping to make a few more.

Saturday, Pinky got to go to Petco with us to buy dog food and Greenies. We decided taking both her and Oz would be a little too much to handle, so it was Pinky's day. Here are a couple pictures...
